I am a freeze-baby. Anyone who knows me is used to seeing me with multiple layers, arms hugged around myself, usually cradling a cup of coffee to warm my hands. I definitely do NOT prefer chilly, and I’m not a fan of the weather getting cooler. The upside of it all is the food, of course. Cooler temps outside mean comfort food in the kitchen! I don’t get too excited about soups, stews and casseroles when it’s 90 degrees outside, but once the leaves start to drop, sign me up!
Old Fashioned Beef Stew
Northeast Ohio has been a little chilly the last few days, so I decided to take advantage of that and make one of our favorites, Old Fashioned Beef Stew. This is super easy to put together but needs to cook for a few hours so the meat is really tender.
